Dearest Classmates of beloved school STC.. hay naku kasalanan nyo lahat ito
.. let's see
either you guys or Isa Kana- may she party in heaven forever
... good grief I don't know which hurts more... hurts in a lovely way, that is
-- more on that later
--- Isa's passage ba? or hearing from you after decades of no communication whatsoever - greater fault on my part, mea culpa, mea culpa.
..so dig this... I had to search Jinggay Gallardo on Facebook.. para naman ma refresh ako nang husto sa appearance nya and how she is now..and then of all things.. I saw Jinggay in a picture with Carol Bretana and Luz-- for the weirdest reason again(!) that set me off on senti
mode .. huhuhu..what is happening
... Carol and I are not even close... it's just that her name is so STC ..and that alone ,having studied elementary till high school there guarantees volumes in personal experiences-- majority joyful and unforgettable.
I'm counting as a sweet blessing hearing from Cory Jeaf, Jinggay, Bangge ( just to call her Bangge is itself like entering the time machine)Taps, Vicky... my goodness and Ichu--- who can forget the meetings we had at their home near The Magnolia House.
And who will not roll over in laughter when a Marichu, Jeaffrey, Terry, Vickoy Judy are your daily companions --while you are trying very hard to learn... ha,ha,ha... in fairness.. marami naman tayong natutunan.Laughter, lots of it tempered our hard curriculum. As Vicky and Lynn are rummaging thru the past. Mcdo perfect venue for this exercise
..akala ko profound memories ang ma dig up nila... but profound for the two ladies was the Ice Cream delights served at Ruby's home..just across the school... chocolate parfaits and banana splits.. oh-la-la.
the very persistent Vicky asking where so and so is now?? ...and Lynn and i getting stressed coz... sus malay ko ba
what part of the globe ang mga kaklase ko?Marissa signed her e-mail as Marissa Longlegs -- it's killing me, remembering Marissa Kana and Marissa Longlegs... nakakatuwa talaga
... it brings you back to a time when life was much simpler, ...try as we would to be young experts on life..the truth back then was we were young innocents... yes Section 1 and fellow Theresians, once upon a time we were so clueless of this thing called L-i-f-e
.For sure the sisters from Kindergarten till senior high school tried their best to teach us about faith, morals, a well-rounded education... but when we graduated and started journeying as adults... w-o-w
and holy cow ..! the nuns and our teachers didnot tell us life would be that Exciting and Challenging
pala...... hahaha, you may supply your own adjectives, ladies.
At any rate..mahilig din naman akong magyabang... I had to tell someone just recently that twas classmate and dear class president Ivy who fixed up Isa's chapel..and this Ivy and the IVY ALMARIO ( of her distinct profession) are one and the same.
I am humbled to be part of this group... I am awed by how many have become so successful and I am not referring to just material or professional success but I thank God how many if not all have grown even greater goodness and wisdom thru the years. From whimsical girls to mature women .. tested by time and fate. Hopefully greater pain will teach us true wisdom and deep love. . a love that heals and inspires us to goodness. In God's perfect time we will fulfill our calling... to be whole and holy.

No one has been exempt from life's tempests..but thank GOD for what the madres taught us.. trust and hope in GOD, cling to our Saviour no matter what.
Have you ever had the feeling at one point or cgue several points in your life, when you wanted to give up...go ballistic or wish God would just take you..but you donot cross to that point precisely because the madres were able to share with us about Christ's everlasting and redeeming love?
TALAGANG MAY NAITANIM SINA SIS.CAREEN..AND even the madre with gargoyle eyeglasses who took care of the canteen, gaano man sya kasungit o strict
..they all took good care of us.Thank you Lord.Life ain't over till it's over..and while Isa has done the victorious cross-over.. we still have a lot of homework to do. Let's keep praying for each other.. let this constant prayer be our shield and source of strength we will always need.
Let me borrow what an uncle sent , it seems perfect for this e-mail... God bless us all..............mye

WORD FOR THE DAY
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
Psalm 84:11-12 NIV
God never said that the journey would be easy, but he did say that the arrival would be worthwhile.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV
