Happy Feast of Pentecost dear brothers and sisters... thru the years we've had all kinds of Pentecost celebrations... of course the pinaka highlight is the holy mass, the Eucharistic celebration  -- but as charismatics we also remember  a lot of  singing, praising , dancing whether within or outside of the Eucharistic celebration --- sometimes there will be great assemblies at a church or coliseum --- indeed festive... pinagha handaan ... but as we grow older and hopefully more mature in our faith we realize these outward manifestations of expressing our faith can also have other "inward" expressions..lumalalim dapat.... we love the music ... the vibrant prayers... but our hearts also make a movement inward --- meaning hinahanap natin ang magiging bunga ng Life in the Spirit... the Fruit of the SPirit Oo naman..siyempre iyon dapat ang kahihinatnan.

Moving on in life... no choice naman talaga dahil minu-minuto, oras-oras ta tanda talaga tayo...and life unfolds to us, the drama..the challenges... the joys and pains ...the totality of life ...and we understand aha... that the music and and the dancing in prayer meetings or holy mass can bear good fruit in our responsibilities in life. 

Did you think you could simply sing your soprano part in the choir forever? or execute beautifully a joyful dance or interpretative dance and then tell Jesus :" Mission accpomplished .. Have done my part Lord... I have served you well. "  

Oops hija..hijo... not so fast... we learn sooner or later...gosh ..magkaka subukan ng pananampalataya pala sa tunay na pangyayari ng buhay.. 

You've grown up.. graduated...gotten married and now are raising your children --- you need to work and provide for the family... many have gone abroad..may nagka sakit.. may namatay... . sobrang iba na ang setting --- how does the feeding of yesteryears come in? Relevant pa ba ? NAMAN:-)

 All the more, we turn to the Lord..all the more we must never forget what we have learned... all the more we continue seeking God ... never bibitaw! And yes bloom where we are planted... miski ayaw nating mag bloom kasi minsan masakit hahaha... 

The wonderful news is that having had this Pentecost experience in our life -- hindi ito maluluma... it will never be a pair of old shoes we can throw away... Jesus has given us the Holy Spirit really to be our Best -Ever Companion in life, our Counselor, our Strength..our Wisdom..our Courage.. our GANA.. lalu pag wala nang gana sa buhay (aminin, aminin ). The Holy Spirit give us Life, direction  and God's abundant love... overflowing talaga po. 

Weirdest part is from our sacramental baptism, nasa atin na pala ang Holy Spirit -- His Sanctifying grace with us all this time -- di lang natin ganap na naunawaan -- it's like having the power of electricity in your house but not knowing how to turn on the switch..

thank God when we sincerely pray to the Holy Spirit , Siya na rin mismo mag i- instruct sa atin. Of course reading and studying our Christian tenets wil help us a lot...effort naman please:-)

Alangan namang magkakasama tayo forever.. na magka dikit ang mga mukha -- syempre hindi maari iyon..we must go and do as God bids us ... but we remain connected , united in Spirit --- sarap diba? Because nga we are the Body of Christ. It's just too awesome for words. Grow...grow...glow in the Lord.

Happy birthday Mother Church.. happy birthday beloved parishioners of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel... happy birthday Living Word...happy birthday dearest friends and relatives... happy birthday sa lahat ng binyagang Katoliko.... we are members of Gods awesome family thru His Son Jesus Christ.
